The report pointed out that in 2021, the national rural online retail sales will be 2.05 trillion yuan, accounting for 15.66% of the national online retail sales, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%. In the first half of 2022, the national rural online retail sales reached 975.93 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. Among them, the online retail sales of rural physical goods were 890.44 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.
In terms of provinces, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hebei and Shandong ranked the top five in rural online retail sales, accounting for 74.0% of the country's rural online retail sales, and the top 10 provinces in terms of retail sales accounted for 89.8% in total. In terms of growth rate, Hainan, Ningxia, Jiangxi, Xinjiang and Guangdong ranked among the top five in terms of year-on-year growth, with a growth rate of more than 20%.
